World of Color Fun Run Rescheduled for July 12
Previous registrants automatically confirmed for makeup date at Wall Park

MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson Public Library and Empower Fitness have announced Saturday, July 12 as the new date for the World of Color Fun Run 2025, following a weather-related postponement of the original event. The colorful community run will take place at Wall Park, with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. and races starting at 8:45 a.m. for the half-mile distance, 9:00 a.m. for the one-mile, and 9:30 a.m. for the two-mile course.
Organizers confirmed that participants who had already registered for the initial date do not need to register again—their spots are automatically secured for the rescheduled event. New participants interested in joining the all-ages, all-skill-level event can still register online at macpl.libcal.com. The Color Run promises a vibrant experience for runners and walkers of all abilities, combining fitness with the joy of being doused in safe, washable colored powder throughout the course. Participants are encouraged to wear white clothing to best showcase the rainbow of colors they'll collect along the route.
