MCPHERSON, Kan. — The local PGA Jr. League team hosted an inner squad exhibition match Wednesday evening, showcasing the talents of 20 young golfers ranging in age from 7 to 13 years old. The exhibition featured the league's signature 2-person scramble format, where teams earn points for each match in a fun, competitive environment designed to introduce children to the game of golf while building fundamental skills and sportsmanship.

The exhibition serves as preparation for the team's upcoming season schedule, which includes matches on June 11th at 6 p.m. at Turkey Creek Golf Course, June 25th at 5:30 p.m. at Hesston Golf Course, July 16th at 6 p.m. back at Turkey Creek Golf Course, and concluding July 28th at 6 p.m. at Salina Country Club. The PGA Jr. League program provides an excellent opportunity for young athletes to develop their golf skills in a team-oriented setting, combining individual improvement with the excitement of team competition while fostering a lifelong love for the sport.
