TOPEKA, Kan. — The McPherson High School Lady Bullpups swimming team concluded their season with a solid performance at the Class 5-1A State Swimming Championships in Topeka, led by standout swimmer Bree Pickerell's eighth-place finish in the 500 freestyle. Pickerell also earned a 13th-place showing in the 200-yard individual medley, while teammate Ady Wiens finished 14th in the same event, demonstrating the depth and talent that carried the Bullpups throughout their successful campaign.

The Lady Bullpups showcased their relay strength with two top-16 finishes, as the quartet of Pickerell, Wiens, Claire Schmidt, and Gracy Hubbard placed 16th in the 200-yard medley relay and 14th in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
