A failing sewer line at the Health Department will require a repair, with the county approving a bid of $12,187.49 from McPherson Quality Air and Plumbing. The issue involves a cast iron pipe with a low point causing water and waste to collect and back up, rendering an employee restroom out of order. The approved repair will address approximately 44 feet of piping and is considered a more cost-effective solution than tying into a more distant main sewer line.
