Five Lady Bullpups Earn All-State Recognition Following Historic Championship
Chapman, Hagemann, Bauer lead KSCA selections after perfect 31-0 season and first state title

MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson High School Lady Bullpups' historic first-ever state championship and perfect 31-0 season has been rewarded with extensive representation on the Kansas Softball Coaches Association Class 4A all-state team. Senior ace Addison Chapman earned first-team recognition as a pitcher after leading the Bullpups' championship run, while she was joined on the first team by senior catcher Haely Hagemann and sophomore outfielder Pera Bauer. The trio of first-team selections highlights the balanced talent that powered McPherson's unprecedented perfect season.
The Lady Bullpups' depth was further recognized with additional all-state honors, as sophomore Rylie Whitfield claimed second-team recognition while senior Addie Herrera received honorable mention honors for her outstanding infield play. The five all-state selections represent the culmination of a magical season that saw the Lady Bullpups dominate opponents throughout their undefeated campaign while capturing the program's first state championship under first-year head coach Daryl Hoelting.
