McPherson is set to enhance its traffic management system with the approval of an $18,780 expenditure for new traffic signal controllers and pedestrian buttons. The purchase includes four new Unix controllers to replace aging M50 models, continuing an effort started last year to update obsolete equipment. Additionally, ten new pedestrian buttons will be acquired to replenish the city's stock, ensuring continued functionality and safety for pedestrians at signalized intersections.
