WINFIELD, Kan. — The McPherson High School Bullpups tennis team capped their successful season with a strong showing at the Class 4A State Tournament in Winfield over the weekend, bringing home two medals against the state's top competition. The doubles team of Bryson Archer and Alex Berger led the Bullpups' efforts, showcasing excellent chemistry and tactical play throughout the tournament to secure a fifth-place finish and earn a spot on the medal stand. Meanwhile, Cooper Bohme added to McPherson's medal count with a 12th-place finish in singles competition, demonstrating resilience and skill against a challenging field of opponents.
