Manhattan residents will decide whether to approve a half-cent city sales tax to fund street infrastructure maintenance when they head to the polls for the upcoming general election.

The [special ballot question](https://www.manhattanks.gov/2584/Street-Maintenance-Sales-Tax?ref=citizenjournal.us) asks voters to authorize the tax for a 10-year period.
