LINDSBORG, Kan. — Öl Stuga is authorized to extend alcohol service onto a portion of the city sidewalk and Main Street during the [Lindsborg Street Dance](https://www.visitlindsborg.com/lindsborg-street-dance?ref=citizenjournal.us) on Saturday, Sept. 26\. [Resolution No. 13-2026](https://www.lindsborgcity.org/media/Ordinances/RESOLUTION%20NO%2013-2026.pdf?ref=citizenjournal.us), passed and approved Aug. 17, authorizes a temporary extension of hours from 4 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Öl Stuga is at [119 S. Main St.](https://www.visitlindsborg.com/LindsborgatYourService?ref=citizenjournal.us), on the 100 block of South Main, where Visit Lindsborg says the dance will take place near Grant Street. The temporary premises are the designated portions of the adjoining sidewalk and Main Street extending west from the front entrance. The resolution places responsibility on Öl Stuga rather than the city for staffing, access control, identification checks, barriers, security, required licenses and permits, and compliance with federal, state and local alcohol laws.

The free dance runs 8 to 11 p.m., with Bootleg Mercy performing; Öl Stuga is one of six businesses sponsoring it. A community meal sponsored by the City of Lindsborg, Visit Lindsborg and Lindsborg Ad Hoc begins at 6:30 p.m. and continues until the food runs out, with the main course sold as an After Prom fundraiser and attendees invited to bring a side dish. A children's play area is in the USD 400 parking lot, separate from the controlled alcohol area.
