The infrastructure project will create a new western exit routing traffic to 27th Street, as well as a southern entrance connecting directly to a newly constructed dead-end on Kansas Highway 10\. Officials hope to begin construction within the next month to ease traffic flow before the complex gets busier. --- ### Lindsay Hart named new Parks and Recreation director LAWRENCE, Kan. — The Lawrence Parks and Recreation Advisory Board briefly celebrated the official appointment of Lindsay Hart as the new director of the Lawrence Parks, Recreation and Culture Department.
