Adults 21 and older can spend an evening at the Hutchinson Zoo on Friday, Dec. 11, with $45 tickets covering zoo access, train rides, heavy hors d'oeuvres and three drinks, or a $15 non-alcoholic option.

The zoo's "Sip, Savor, & Socialize" evening runs from 6 to 9 p.m.

According to the zoo's Facebook event listing, each ticket includes rides on the Prairie Thunder Railroad and a "Welcome Drink" plus two drink tickets, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. The listing says the zoo promises animal encounters, snacks and entertainment.

The zoo has held adults-only evenings before. Citizen Journal previously reported on its "Final Sips of Summer" night on Sept. 20, 2025, and an adults-only holiday lights event in December 2025.

The zoo is at 6 Emerson Loop East in Carey Park.
