# Hutchinson Community College names two recipients of 2026 Young Kansan Award

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Community College has named Aaron Bartel and Erin Schwertfeger as its 2026 Young Kansan Award recipients, honoring the graduating students for their achievements and character.

Both were selected by college faculty and administration and learned of the recognition during a surprise ceremony on campus. They will be formally honored at this year's commencement.
