Traffic signal removed at Hutchinson intersection

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Police Department announced Monday that traffic signals have been removed from the intersection of West Fourth Avenue and North Washington Street.
East and westbound traffic on West Fourth Avenue may now proceed through the intersection without stopping, while north and southbound traffic on Washington Street must follow posted stop signs and yield to cross traffic, according to the police department's Traffic Unit.
The change took effect Sunday.
