Haven Student Receives $4,000 Military Scholarship
HAVEN, Kan. — Haven High School senior Matthew Mulligan has been awarded $4,000 from the Family Readiness Group Scholarship Fund administered by the 1st Battalion 161st Field Artillery.
The scholarship was presented through the Hutchinson Community Foundation as part of the military unit's support for local students. Mulligan is a member of the Class of 2025.
The Family Readiness Group Scholarship Fund supports students connected to military families, providing financial assistance for post-secondary education. The 1st Battalion 161st Field Artillery is a Kansas Army National Guard unit.
Haven High School is located in Reno County, approximately 50 miles northwest of Wichita.
