For the first time ever, at 6:30 p.m. on May 30, the American Sprint Car Series is coming to the Kansas State Fairgrounds to race the Salt City Speedway! The nation's best 360 Sprint Car racers take on the 1/2-mile oval in pursuit of a $4,000 grand prize in the kickoff to a weekend swing through the Sunflower State.

One night, three blues artists on one stage at The Red Shed Venue, on May 31, 2025, beginning at 8:00 pm. Come out and enjoy and evening of beautiful blues.
Mark your calendars for the May Movie Night and Special Events: FREE ADMISSION Puppy Yoga & Adoption event during the Robinson Moreno Craft Show. Yoga classes will be held at 10am & 1pm in Sunflower South. Strataca is gearing up for its third annual Block Party, a free community celebration set for next week that promises food, live music, family activities — and a grand fireworks finale.
The Kansas State Fairgrounds will be the location of the 2025 Working Equitation Horse Show on May 31-June 1. Come out and enjoy some equestrian excitement.
Come out and celebrate local food, entertainment, and culture. The Market offers a variety of fruit, veggies, jams & jellies, baked goods, crafts, and much more! All from local vendors. The Reno County Farmers Market is celebrating 40 years in 2025, beginning May 3 - October, they will be open every Saturday, 7:30am-12:30pm. June7-September 27 they will be open on Wednesday's, 10:00am-1:00pm.
Come out to the Robinson's-Moreno ‘Spring Into Summer’ Craft Show on May 31, 2025, from 9:00am-3:00pm. Held at the Kansas State Fairgrounds Sunflower North & South Buildings.
The May 31 Morning Artist sessions are for attendees to arrive anytime between 9:00 and 11:00 am. You will need to bring $8.00 and your art supplies. The group follows a casual ‘come and go’ policy with each session usually ending by 11:30 am. The Hutchinson Art Center recruits a model for the morning, but there is no teacher or formal instruction process during the session; instead you have the supportive environment of other Kansas artists!
Hutchinson's Historic Fox Theatre will be showing ‘O’ Brother Where Art Thou' as part of their Classic Film Series on May 31 at 2:00 pm. ‍Tickets are $5 per person, available at the door. No advance tickets. FOX Film Series Passes accepted.
