HAYS, Kan. — The Hays Convention and Visitors Bureau earned first place in the Digital/Online Media category at the Kansas Tourism Conference in Manhattan last week, winning recognition for its monthly e-newsletter designed by Marketing Manager Kyrsten Feik. The Travel Industry Association of Kansas presents the annual Marketing Awards to honor the most creative and effective tourism marketing efforts across the state, with the Hays CVB's newsletter standing out among entries from TIAK members for its eye-catching graphics, colorful photos, and comprehensive coverage of local events and activities sent to more than 4,450 recipients including both residents and visitors. Interested individuals can sign up for the newsletter at VisitHays.com under the "About Us" section, while the CVB continues its promotional efforts from its headquarters at the Hays Welcome Center at 2700 Vine St.
