# Hays city commission to weigh $511,411 water line contract

HAYS — The Hays City Commission will consider awarding a $511,411 contract to J Corp for the 2026 Water Line Project during its Thursday meeting. Commissioners are also scheduled to hear a state legislative update from state Rep. Barbara Wasinger, and vote on issuing industrial revenue bonds for the Grove Community Center and CERVS. Additionally, the commission will review a $38,570 bid from CAS Constructors for a new water plant meter and hold a public hearing for a Community Development Block Grant application to improve property at 1012 Main St.
