Haven Public Schools Opens Online Enrollment for Returning Students

HAVEN, Kan. — USD 312 Haven Public Schools has opened online enrollment for returning students, with in-person enrollment options also available at school buildings.
Students can complete enrollment through the district's PowerSchool portal at havenschools.powerschool.com/public. Parents without PowerSchool accounts should contact the district office or email Brad Russell at brussell@havenschools.com for assistance.
The enrollment process requires parents to log in with their portal credentials, select "Forms" from the left menu and complete all required forms. The district emphasizes that parents must click the link for free and reduced lunch applications during the process.
In-person enrollment will be available July 31 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Aug. 1 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at school buildings for families preferring face-to-face registration.
The district has posted its 2025 calendar online, noting that dates remain subject to change. Key upcoming dates include online enrollment information distribution July 21, K-12 in-person enrollment July 31 and Aug. 1, a fall sports parent meeting Aug. 14, the first day of fall KSHSAA practice Aug. 18, Back to School Night Aug. 18, the first day of classes Aug. 19 and a district-wide pep rally Aug. 28.
Parents must also complete free and reduced lunch applications through the Kansas State Department of Education portal. This separate application determines meal program eligibility and must be filed annually regardless of previous participation.
Russell serves as the primary contact for enrollment questions and technical assistance throughout the registration process.
The district serves students in Reno County and surrounding areas in south-central Kansas.
