Hair Innovations marked its move to 118 S. Main with a McPherson Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting Tuesday evening, Sept. 29, and owner Stephanie Klein said the space has openings for two more stylists. Chamber Board President Michele Graham said Klein has worked in the industry for 20 years and has owned her own salon for four years, and that the Main Street storefront is both a move and an expansion. Graham presented Klein with the chamber's traditional First Dollar of Profit certificate, a framed keepsake marking a business's welcome to the chamber rather than a financial award.

Klein said in the chamber's release that color is probably the salon's most requested service, with copper and seasonal tones popular now. "Lashes are a close second. I have ladies who love their lashes!" Klein said. The salon also offers Brazilian blowouts, haircuts for all ages, spa manicures and pedicures.

The Hair Innovations team includes Sarah Henry, who provides nail services and nail art; Heather Jennings, who provides color, cuts, styles and treatments; and Klein, who handles hair and lashes. Beyond the two stylist openings, Klein said the building has space for a third additional station if she needs it and rooms she could finish out if she finds a masseuse.

The chamber's release said the salon welcomes new clients at its Main Street location.
