### 1\. Scheduled March 16 city council meeting canceled due to lack of quorum

GREAT BEND, Kan. — The scheduled March 16 city council meeting has been canceled because of scheduling conflicts that will prevent a quorum, City Administrator Logan Burns announced during his administrative update. Residents planning to attend or present to the council will have to wait until later in the spring, as the council will not officially convene again until April 6.

### 2\. Downtown street closure approved for Rocky Mountain Race Week

GREAT BEND, Kan. — A downtown street closure was approved to accommodate the upcoming Rocky Mountain Race Week. The measure will shut down Lakin Avenue between Main and Williams streets to vehicle traffic for the event on June 5.
