# Farmers Alliance Wins United Way Legacy Award

MCPHERSON, Kan. —United Way of McPherson County announced this week that Farmers Alliance Mutual Insurance (FAMI) has been recognized as the Legacy Award winner for the organization's 2024 fundraising campaign. The prestigious Legacy Award honors the organization that raises the largest total amount for United Way through a combination of employee donations and employer matching contributions.

FAMI's achievement demonstrates the company's strong commitment to supporting the McPherson County community through both individual employee generosity and corporate philanthropy. "Thank you, FAMI!" said United Way representatives, who encouraged the community to join in congratulating FAMI staff for their outstanding contributions to this year's campaign. The Legacy Award recognition highlights the insurance company's role as a leading corporate partner in addressing local community needs through United Way's various programs and initiatives.
