NEWTON, Kan. — East First Street is set to fully reopen to traffic on Monday morning, Aug. 10, after the Newton Street Division completed concrete repairs along the roadway. Crews are currently allowing the newly poured concrete to cure and will remove the temporary detour before the morning commute, restoring full access for both eastbound and westbound drivers.
