# City authorizes door-to-door sales permit for educational book vendor

Hutchinson has approved a door-to-door sales permit for a representative of Southwestern Advantage, an educational program that sends college students to sell books, websites and software to families during the summer.

The permit covers a representative named AJ. City officials publicized the approval to notify residents that AJ is authorized to conduct business in the community.
