# Chamber to hold ribbon-cutting at Ben's Bins on Thursday

The McPherson Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting for Ben's Bins from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at 1339 W. Kansas Ave. The Chamber says Chamber Connections, weekly events that promote member businesses, are open to the community.

Ben Coffey, through CoffeyHouse Ventures LLC, opened Ben's Bins in September. New inventory arrives Saturdays, and prices drop throughout the week.

Johni Doughman, the former McPherson Main Street director, manages the store, according to the Citizen Journal's Sept. 11 City Digest. Doughman resigned from Main Street in August to take the position. CoffeyHouse Ventures also purchased the Kansas Barn Sale in spring 2026 and hosted the event Oct. 3 at the McPherson Community Building.
