Canton residents should avoid the water towers at Railroad and 4th Street the weekend of Aug. 29-30, as crews prepare for painting work starting Monday, Aug. 31\. A city notice asks residents to stay clear of equipment, vehicles, barricades and designated construction areas. "For your safety and the safety of all workers involved, please use caution and avoid the work area whenever possible," the City of Canton said in the notice.
