# Bullpups Win Regional Baseball Title, Punch State Ticket

MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson High School varsity boys baseball team claimed the Class 4A regional championship Monday at Grant Complex, defeating Andale 8-3 in the title game after topping Buhler 7-0 in the semifinals. Buchman threw a complete-game shutout against Buhler, striking out six in seven innings, while Strathman (6 IP, 7 K, 1 BB) and Chapman (1 IP, 1 K) combined on the mound in the regional final. The Bullpups advance to the 4A state tournament, with their first-round game slated for Monday at a time and location to be determined.
