MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson High School varsity girls softball team claimed the Class 4A regional championship Saturday, defeating Hugoton 13-0 in the opening round before edging Circle 4-1 in the title game. The Bullpups advance to the state tournament after sweeping both regional opponents on May 19.
