County Administrator Matt Patzner announced the extension is specifically aimed at businesses and property owners in Ellinwood and Hoisington. Officials granted the extension to allow contractors additional time to return project bids so business owners can submit complete applications. --- ### Grant funding maxed out for remaining cities BARTON COUNTY, Kan. — While Ellinwood and Hoisington received an extension for the Facade Improvement Grant, funding is already accounted for in the county's other two major cities, Claflin and Great Bend.
