HAYSVILLE, Kan. — The McPherson Middle School seventh-grade girls volleyball teams swept Haysville Middle School on Tuesday, with both the A and B squads improving to 8-1 on the season. The A team rallied from an early deficit to win 26-24, 25-20, with Coach Ally Lusk crediting clutch net plays and improved serving: "We fixed our serves and ended with a few aces. The girls came out strong in set two and dominated." The B team, led by Coach Lauren Labertew, earned a 25-16, 25-21 victory; the Bullpups next travel to Augusta Middle School to face Augusta and Rose Hill.
